At Inti Llacta Reserve, we carry out several conservation activities with the aim of maintaining the rich biodiversity present in the Choco area. One of our main projects includes ecological restoration of degraded ecosystems. For this project we are implementing environmentally friendly productive activities such as organic shade grown coffee plantations, reforestation with native trees, organic farms and low scale cattle grazing in silvipastoril systems.

Additionally we run an environmental education program in which we enroll children from local schools and from the capital ( Quito ).

The environmental education is a component that it is also included in visits to Tucanopy, for this reason our visitors also learn about the importance of ecology and conservation of forests for the preservation of live in the planet.
